While blogs are notoriously easy to work with and update, over time they can become rather ‘busy’. While some of the posts may be topically sequential, they often are not. This makes following a ‘conversation’, if indeed there is one here, much more difficult to follow.

The proper use of ‘Categories’ will ease this problem. On one day I might publish a post on business planning, and on another day, there may be a post about a particulary useful plugin. Following the blog through ‘day by day’ – its default organizational structure, might certainly be useful and even fun. But if you want to dig a little deeper, use categories.

All of my posts will be tagged with a category label. So if you want to see all (and only) the posts that have to do with creating a business plan, or setting up a blog, or whatever, just jump over into the right sidebar and click on the link for that particular category.

The results listed will be in reverse chronological order, as blogs are – so if there’s any chronology to the posts, you’ll have to scroll to the bottom and work you way up the ladder. But you will ONLY be viewing posts for the desired category.

Capice?

Have fun.
