First, a bit about me. I’m Kat Bartone – born, raised, and still living in Massachusetts. While some think where I live is ‘the sticks’, it’s really not. But it is off the beaten track, and I like the quiet here.

Many years ago, when I was still pretty wet behind the ears, I made my living as a field service technician for Xerox Corporation. Other than the nasty cleaning chemicals we used back then, I enjoyed my time there. It was great experience doing work that gave me a chance to blend my interests in electronics and in the mechanics of how things work. Learning to manage sometimes irate customers gave me an early edge in people skills. And having a company car at my disposal 24/7 wasn’t too shabby either!

After that I got into teaching, first Electronics Technology, and then Computer Technology – computer repair and networking. A few years ago I discovered Internet Marketing, and was hooked. I worked at my teaching job full time, and after work did everything I could to learn this new business.

For a long time, I made a very common mistake – treating my online business as a ‘hobby’ rather than as a ‘business’. Now I’ve devoted myself full time to developing my business and applying all that I’ve learned over the last few years.

One of the great joys of teaching was the satisfaction of helping other people. I want to continue to do that in my Internet Marketing journey. Thus, this site is dedicate to YOU, the new marketer – and I hope that what you find here will be strategies that will help you to fulfill your online destiny.
